October 2007- Sensitron's new F483xH product is a three phase bridge rectifier assembly with fuses in each DC leg. Available in 150 to 1000 volts, and 30 to 5000ns. A Dielectric Withstanding Voltage test is performed with the metal case of the assembly connected to ground and all four terminals connected to the high potential side of a DC power supply or scope display test. July 2007- Sensitron now offers extended range Solid State Power Controller Modules (SPDPXXD28ER Series) which are designed to operate without any heatsink requirements. These microcontroller-based Solid State Relays are rated up to 30A and designed to be used in high reliability 28V DC applications. These modules have integrated current sensing with no derating over the full operating temperature range and are the electronic equivalent to electromechanical circuit breakers with isolated control and status. February 2007- Sensitron has developed a complete motor control sub-system module that contains all the power and interface circuitry needed to operate a brushless DC motor off of AC mains. The Module contains an isolated user interface, an AC EMI filter, a three phase rectifier and storage capacitor. It is intended to drive 1 HP brushless DC motor and can be configured to control both speed and torque. The device also contains a number of user interface signals including a TTL enable input, temperature and motor fault alarm outputs.
